About

IMG_4623When my children were born, I decided to quit working in the company I was working for as translator and interpreter, and begin working free-lance. This happened in 1993, quite a long time, isn’t it?

Over the years, I have decided to add a new profile to my professional career, that of Official Guide of Catalonia. Translating is a silent and lonely work and guiding visitors is just the contrary. I think that these two opposite but somehow complementary aspects of my personality match each other pretty well.

I have a double nationality, Swiss and Spanish. Therefore, regarding my knowledge of languages, I grew up hearing always three languages at home: Spanish, French and Catalan, which I believe has made it usual for me to feel comfortable in any of them, and has made it easier for me to learn other new ones as well.

To relax, I draw and paint. You can see examples of my work here.
