Translator

As a free-lance translator, I may deal with urgent, difficult texts, but I love challenges, this makes me feel that I am pushing my own limits further. This is a way of learning and feeling alive. It might be running in my blood, perhaps just a family hallmark…

I am a member of the Swiss ASTTI (Swiss Association of Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters).

My working languages are: Spanish, French, English and Catalan (in both directions).

I also have a good level of conversation in German.

among others, but after so many years of experience, I am open and ready to face almost any text to be translated.

However, I have also worked in marketing communication for traditional and new media.

I have also worked as translator, interpreter and in public relations for many companies, as well as for private and public organisations (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, TV3 [Televisió de Catalunya], Departament de la Presidència de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Institut de Ciències Polítiques i Socials, PEN Club de Barcelona, MNAC [Museu d’Art de Catalunya], Centre d’Estudis de Temes Contemporanis de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Caixa de Sabadell, Crédit Suisse, Columna Música, Centro de Estudios Olímpicos, Centro de Cálculo de Sabadell, Fundació Pere Tarrés, Consell Comarcal del Vallès Occidental, Caixa de Pensions [Fundación "la Caixa"], Fundación Parc Taulí, CIEMEN, Consorci Hospitalari del Parc Taulí, etc.).

Finally, I have translated many videos for TV3 and some museum exhibitions, as well as the booklets of many CDs of classical music.
